About diagnostics fees
For purposes of billing, "level one" diagnostics are defined as invasive, time consuming, or extrodinary measures taken to diagnose your Mac. Examples of level one diagnostics would be display removal, logic board removal, hard drive scans. This list is not exhaustive and any diagostic process taking 30 minutes or more will be considered level one diagnostics.
Level two diagnostics are defined as actions that require less than 30 minutes to diagnose and remedy. They can be, but are not limited to assistance with password reset, adware or malware removal and obvious failures or damage of your Mac's hardware. No diaganostic fees are billed for level two diagnostics.
* Diagnostic fees are waived upon approval of necessary or recommended repair and/or hardware upgrades.
Additional Service Explanation
* The flat rate data recovery of $270 does not include the destination media. You will need to provide us with a storage device of adequate capacity to transfer your rescued data on to. Alternatively, we can purchase an adequate storage device on your behalf.
* Boot Camp installations require a valid and licensed copy of Windows. Virtual Machine installation require a valid and licensed copy of Windows and the virtual machine software of your choice. If we are not supplied with the licensed software, we can purchase the software on your behalf. We do not install pirated or copied software under any circumstances.
* Our on-site hourly rates are billed in blocks of one (1) hour. On-site visits are subject to a one hour minimum. Once the minimum has been reached, rates are incurred in blocks of fifteen (15) minute increments. As a courtesy to you we will round down to the nearest fifteen (15) minute increment Abandoned equipment will be sold or otherwise disposed of according to the guidelines outlined in our Terms of Service policy
